What are the Illinois Laws for Owning a Sword?

I'm thinking of buying a sword soon, just to probably have in my room for decoration. It probably won't be used for anything else since the blades are often very fragile. I would like to eventually join a medieval re-enactment group and possibly use it as a prop(just for show and no use). I've been trying to research what the laws are for swords in Illinois but I can't find any; only gun control laws. Can somebody help me out? Thanks.
