Hello, I am possibly working in Australia next year and found through some research that the 4 year residency requirement is waived after 6 months of service in the Australian armed forces. How long are you required to serve if you enlist?

Depending on what trade you enlist as, the minimum is between 4 & 6 years that you have to serve. Just a basic general entry position like a soldier is 4 years.
